Quartz

Quartz is a versatile engineered stone made from crushed natural quartz and polymer resins. This process creates a non-porous and incredibly durable surface with consistent color and pattern, making it a favorite for modern kitchens.

  • Pros: Very low maintenance, highly resistant to scratches and stains, and doesn’t require sealing.
  • Cons: Not as resistant to high heat as granite, and patterns can be more uniform than natural stone.

Granite

Marble

Porcelain

  • Cons: While ultra-durable, the material’s brittle nature means that corners and edges can be prone to chipping if subjected to heavy or sharp impact.
